“I loved all of the candles that were in my order. They are well crafted and shipped with care. My order was very prompt. Excellent service. And they smell amazing! I usually struggle with overly strong candle scents, but these were perfect!”

“I love the candles that I got from Stephanie. She has unscented candles as well which is great because I don’t do well with scented candles. She even custom painted a candle for me at my request. 5 out of 5 stars!”

“I ordered a set of gnome candles from Stephanie…they arrived very quickly and are beautiful! I bought them as a gift for my sons and I know they will love them. They are great quality, very affordable, and we are looking forward to using them. Would definitely recommend Isaiah 60:1 candles!”

Vintage candle making

I went thrift shopping and found some awesome materials to make some incredible candles. The first item was a vintage Murano vase from italy. It is blown glass that is pulled and has gray swirls. I turned it into a vanilla beeswax candle. So pretty. Next was a vintage little cast iron tea pot. I…

Desert Candle

Today, I crafted a unique candle using over 3 pounds of yellow beeswax dyed garnet to mimic desert sand. It features handmade succulents, cactuses, and will soon include a wax scorpion. With four wooden wicks, this stunning piece is priced at $65 plus tax. I’m thrilled with the outcome!

Yet more candles!

Today I made 16 lavender candles in purple jars, 8 ocean candles with real tourmaline, amethyst and seashells in dough bowls, and 7 black sand candles with orange slices and cinnamon sticks in dough bowls. Feeling accomplished!

More flower Candles – 8 oz ea

I’m so in love with how these candles came out. Most of them came out perfectly. Some of them the flowers or leaves moved a bit but most didn’t. I love the contrast between the soy wax and the colors of the flowers. These candles are patchouli scented. I will be at the Saco Women’s…

40 Lavender 4 oz Candles

This afternoon I brought out my industrial wax melter because I did a larger batch of candles then I normally do. I did 40 four-ounce candles with lavender blossoms inside each one and lavender scent from real essential oils. I decided to do uncolored soy to highlight the simple beauty of the lavender blossoms in…

Open for business

I am starting my fall schedule and taking orders for my popular owl and gnome candles. I’ll be at the Saco Women’s Collective show on September 20th and Mill Park in Augusta on the 26th. Additionally, I’m hosting a candle making class on the 27th at Pownalborough Hall for $40.

Today’s Candle Creation

Today was quite the process. I made a two pound candle that resembles an ice-cream dessert with fruit, chocolate and nuts on top. It looks almost good enough to eat. Here are some pictures of the process. I ended up not having enough room for all of the pieces but I’m so happy with how…
