I went thrift shopping and found some awesome materials to make some incredible candles. The first item was a vintage Murano vase from italy. It is blown glass that is pulled and has gray swirls. I turned it into a vanilla beeswax candle. So pretty. Next was a vintage little cast iron tea pot. I turned it into a vanilla beeswax candle as well. Next was a small ceramic bowl that I turned into a mini desert candle that is sandalwood scented. I found many cool things there. I’m kicking myself for not getting one particular item that was a giant shell bowl. It would have made a fabulous candle. Oh well. I’ll update when I make more candles from my thrift store haul.
